Your appointment time includes a discussion of your health history and goals, assessment, treatment, and home care recommendations, as appropriate. Please ensure you have checked your email and filled out all necessary forms prior to your appointment.
Initial appointments usually take a bit more time for interview and assessment as we get to know your needs and goals and review informed consent.
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the therapists’ day that could have been filled by another patient. Out of respect for our patients and our practitioners we require at 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment.
1) Patients who provide less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged 100% of the missed appointment.
2) If you fail to show up for your appointment without notice, this will be documented as a “no show” and you will be charged 100% of your missed appointment.
Please note that email and text reminders sent by Janeapp are a courtesy only - a "bonus" feature - and should not be solely relied upon to track and remember your appointment times.
If within 24 hours, please call or text (not email) to let us know you will not be able to make it. Online/email cancellations will not be accepted within 24 hours.
**Late cancellation and no-show fees CANNOT be billed to your extended health insurer. We cannot bill insurance providers for a service we did not provide to you. You will be responsible for the no show/late cancellation fees.
Although we keep a credit card number on file in case of late cancellations and no-shows, payment is taken with you in-person during your appointment time.
We accept credit, debit, cash, and e-transfers. We cannot provide change for cash transactions. Some therapists may choose not to accept cash.
Each therapist chooses which, if any, insurers they direct bill to. Please check their individual bios on our Janeapp booking page to see a list of insurers each therapist offers direct billing for.
